Calamities wins the 2017 Firecracker Award for Nonfiction

Calamities, the collection of essays by Renee Gladman, has won the 2017 Firecracker Award for Nonfiction! It shared company with an amazing and diverse group of finalists, including Mary Ruefle's book of short prose, My Private Property. Read about them all over at the CLMP

This recognition that comes on the eve of her first--and our first--art book, Prose Architectures, an extraordinary project that intersects with Calamities in myriad ways.
